Logos, Logos, Logos
88 retro logos on YouTube. Remember these from the ends of certain TV shows? They’re all here: Screen Gems S From Hell, Lorimar Line Of Doom, and the notorious Paramount ID with “Closet Killer” music. The latter would pop up after being lulled into submission with a Brady Bunch episode, and then it was all AAAAAAAHH!!!! SCARY PARAMOUNT!!!! Gee, thanks for traumatizing me.

See, I really liked the "Closet Killer/Paramount" logo music. Though it was an abrupt transition from the former Desilu/initial Paramount logo music, when I heard it after "Brady Bunch" reruns, it somehow reminded me that that episode (first season) had been much older than the others.
Now, for a logo that used to unnerve me as a child and still is a little weird to me? Check out the 1971 Viacom closing logo. From a child's point of view, it's pretty chaotic and creepy! I actually think it may beat out the Screen Gems "S-from-Hell" logo. (Which was pretty scary to watch if you happened to be home alone as a child!)

I liked that Viacom one. Very Mary Tyler Mooreish.

I had nightmares about the S from Hell. It was truly one of the scariest things from my childhood.

none of them ever scared me although I see how "Closet Killer" could scare children under the age of 8
