Free Design Redesigned

Knowing of my love of a certain underappreciated '60s soft pop vocal group, Max pointed me to a page with some swell new Free Design remixes for download. The guitar-heavy "I Found Love" sounds more like a remake than a remix, but Peanut Butter Wolf's funkified "Umbrellas" is a winner. In addition, Light In The Attic Records hosts Danger Mouse & Murs' "To a Black Boy" refashioned as an atmospheric hip-hop ode to a wrongly imprisoned young man. The combo of raps and the FD's delicate arrangements seems odd, but the song has grown on me and now I love it.

Thank for the Free Design remix link and may I recommend the "Baby's First Beats" album by the Busy Signals which relies heavily on samples from "Kites are Fun".
