Project UFO

chemo.jpg Today's L.A. Times has an article on one of America's most famous homes, John Lautner's Chemosphere. Otherwise known as Matty's Dream House. This iconic structure was recently bought and restored to its former glory by Benedikt Taschen of publishing fame -- and it looks like everyone involved did a fantastic job. Thanks to the wonderful Christopher for pointing this out. Related: this week's Design Within Reach newsletter details the great design and architecture found in the Phoenix area. Sweet!

This fascinates me! I would love to see before and after photos. Any chance those exist somewhere?
