A Doll's (Blood-Stained) House

Check these photos out - murder scenes scaled to dollhouse size, used to teach forensic science in the '40s. I read about these fascinating tableaus in Metropolis a few years back. They were meticulously crafted by a woman named Frances Glessner Lee and according to this article they still being used for educational puroses. Now it looks like Corinne May Botz's wonderfully moody photos of the rooms are getting a gallery showing and are published in a new book. Fantastic. (via Boing Boing)
