Emperor, Meet Clothes

Frank Rich's New York Times editorial on the presidential debates probably won't convert anybody. It does, however, illuminate what an elaborate smoke-and-mirrors job the Bush administration has built around itself - one that backfired at the first debate. Can you say Schadenfreude?

Excellent piece.
Still...
I bet anyone dollars to doughnuts that that vile little man will win handily come November.
Our citizens, a usually decent group, are just too wrapped up in "The War" and "Supporting Our Troops" and are not set afire by Kerry. They've bought the Rove/Bush Lie Machine wholeheartedly.
Our media isn't looking that deeply; too few are speaking the truth. Those who do are ridiculed or vilified.
Kerry does not exite me. This is the best we can do?
I'm a dyed-in-the-wool lefty! Who speaks for me?
Dr. Dean--where have you gone?
National I.D. cards for everybody and a National Draft by January.
Thus endeth my sermon.
