Strings Attatched

The New York Times has a longish article on the troublesome production of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's "marionettes save the world" epic Team America: World Police. I am totally, totally looking forward to this one!

Cool! Those puppets and sets look very intricate and beautifully styled. Your friends seem to have done an excellent job.

It's funny, when you see these things in person (the sets and props), they are amazing. Yet, it's funny how the smallest details like the chrome around a cars tail light are just badly placed silver tape, but looks great on film! But then again, who want to put all that work into something that gets blown up in the end. I watched a scene where Michael Moore is a suicide bomber. Blowed him up real good! Real good!
