iPod, uPod
Newsweek cover story on the iPod. It's the latest thing! Celebrities love it! If everybody loves their iPods so much, then why have I never seen anyone else using one in public?

I see them everywhere. Last week, I was on a crowded train car in Chicago and was one of only five or six people who wasn't listening to an iPod.
Yeah, you obviously don't live in NYC, because they're everywhere - especially on the subway.
It must be the lack of public transportation that's preventing me from seeing the iPod users around here.
I'm feeling insecure about being "Worcester Brad".
I'm thinking this "TheBrad" guy is about 48% more cooler than me.
He isn't "SomeBrad" or "Haddad Brad", he is "TheBrad" and who CARES if he is a close talker?
Dang.
Can I "be PowerPositronicalUltimateNoSpacesBrad-Brad"?
Just for a little while?
I would like to beat each ipod user with their overpriced craptacular device until eventually something in their mind clicks causing them to realize how pathetic the whole ipod craze is.
It's driving me nuts. Cheaper, BETTER and much cooler looking alternatives do exist...and have existed long before apple decided to brainwash the youth of North America.
Those who collect more than one of these ipods shouldn't be allowed to procreate.
I think the iPod is a seriously fantastic device. Even in the backwoods of Albuquerque, New Mexico, I see a few.
There are a lot of cheaper alternatives, but they don't have the usability and features of the iPod. Once you get used to that wheel, you'll never be able to use a clunky mp3 player with tiny switches, flimsy knobs, and hard-to-read screens again.
Bless you on great 'groc'. ;-) You have made my night.
Everywhere, everywhere in NYC. And I mean everywhere.
