Aural Sculpture

Slant serves up another batch of tantalizing goodies with Vital Pop: 50 Essential Albums, a list still in progress. Nice to see that they're concentrating on overlooked gems from the '90s, such as Erasure's wonderful I Say I Say I Say.

Here, here! "Run to the Sun" is one of my all-time favorite songs, and I Say, I Say, I Say is easily my favorite Erasure album. I can't wait to see what else they reveal. Thanks for sharing this juicy find!

it'll be interesting to see if anything on the siesta label makes it onto their list or if the free design will(i mean if the beach boys can be included why not the free design?). so far most of this list seems, well, rather commercial and not that essential actually.

I doubt the Free Design will be included, but in a perfect world Star/Time/Bubbles/Love (which Light in the Attic records is reissuing next week) would be on there, yeah.
