Fontland
This blows me away -- a
fantastic gallery of signage and typography at Disneyland. These photos are by Cory Holms, who also wrote a
Typographica blog entry on Disney's (wise) decision to use the more expensive method of old fashioned hand-lettering on its theme park signage.

It's nice to be reminded of how Disneyland used to pay attention to the details. Unfortunately, if the new Tomorrowland and California Adventure are any indication, it would seem that they've lost it. My last trip to D-land was the first time that I've ever felt bored in the park.
Has Eisner's cabal driven all the creativity and enthusiasm out?
