things magazine) Make sure to read the comments, too. This was an issue at my last job. We were working on newspaper supplements, sections that competed visually with other news sections, maybe a Wal-Mart circular at best. Despite this, management wanted covers to slavishly imitate newsstand magazines with a million crappy cutlines on the covers. I didn't mind having a few there but --- blecch!
