I had the same reaction when Diana Krall came on. She's a good jazz singer who sounds nothing like actual jazz singers from the early '30s. When Diana Krall popped up singing "Bye Bye Blackbird." The recording just sounded so out of period that it irritated me enough to turn me against the movie.
