The Brooke Shields doll commercial from circa 1981, spotted yesterday on Jonno’s Twitter feed. Sure beats that weird eyelash-growing medicine she’s hawking these days.

    Jeez, I remember these ads. I also remember ads where Shields herself would appear to talk about how cute the dolls were.

    The girl who says “Thanks, Brooke” for the ring seems a little embarrassed by this whole display. I’m guessing she was just a bit too old for the part, and felt like a dork talking to a Brooke Shields doll.
